Little Miss Muffet's Preschool Daily Schedule 7:30-8:00 Greet children and parents, health check and wash hands. 8:00-8:30 Breakfast, wash hands, and clean-up. 8:30-9:00 Music & movement, circle & story time. 9:00-9:50 On Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Science and Art. 9:00-9:50 On Tuesday, Thursday: Math, Social Science, and Art. 9:50-10:00 Clean-up. 10:00-10:50 (inside) Dramatic play, manipulative, writing table, book center. 10:00-10:50 (outside) Tricycles, balls, water table, skates and climbing toys. 10:50-11:00 Clean-up and wash hands. 11:00-12:00 Lunch, family style, wash hands and clean-up. 12:00-1:00 Listen to music. 1:00-2:45 Nap Time. 2:45-3:00 Put mats away, bathroom wash hands. 3:00-3:20 Snack time, family style. 3:20-3:30 Clean-up. 3:30-4:50 Child initiated play, children may choose the same activities as in the morning or they may choose something else from our wide selection of learning materials. 4:40-5:00 Clean-up. 5:00-5:30 Story/circle time, departure with parents, assist children with papers, coats, etc. While it does appear that we have scheduled every minute our children are free to be inactive as well as active with all of our learning materials. We have considered childrens likes/dislikes and interests as well as their abilities when setting up the environment and have allowed for active and quiet time, adequate nutrition and rest time so that we are meeting all of our children's needs.
